Our services
Manthana Foundation provides online mental-health services, including psychiatry consultations and psychotherapy/counselling, delivered remotely via WhatsApp audio or video call. Services are provided by qualified professionals, including Dr. Arun Bhat P (Psychiatrist) and Mrs. Keerthi Aithal (Clinical Psychologist).
Not for emergencies
Our services are not a crisis or emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, experiencing a medical emergency, or having thoughts of self-harm, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately. Do not rely on our booking system for urgent help.
Eligibility and accurate information
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when booking. Where a session is for a minor, it must be arranged with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
Booking and sessions
- Sessions are booked in advance and confirmed over WhatsApp.
- Each session is approximately one hour and is typically conducted weekly.
- The number of sessions needed varies depending on your circumstances.
- The first short consultation is offered free of charge, as described on our website. Subsequent sessions are charged at the rate shown on our website (currently ₹900 per session) and are prepaid to confirm your slot.
Payments
Payments are made in advance via UPI or the payment methods shown at the time of booking. Your slot is confirmed once payment is received. Fees are as displayed on our website and may be updated from time to time.
Fee adjustment
If you have genuine difficulty affording the fee, the therapist may, at their discretion, adjust it according to your capacity. Please discuss this before booking.
Conduct during sessions
To allow us to help you effectively, we ask that you attend sessions on time, in a private and quiet space where possible, with a stable internet connection. Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour towards our practitioners may result in a session being ended without refund.
Professional relationship and outcomes
Our practitioners provide care using recognised, evidence-based approaches. However, mental-health outcomes depend on many factors, and we cannot and do not guarantee any specific result. Information on our website is for general information only and is not a substitute for professional advice tailored to your situation.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, graphics, logos, and images — is the property of Manthana Foundation or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Manthana Foundation and its practitioners are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or services, or from disruptions caused by third-party platforms such as WhatsApp or payment providers.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
